GRIFFITHS, William Vincent "Bill" -Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on March 25, 2017 in his 72nd year after a long battle with Parkinson's Disease. He was born on December 29th, 1944 to Jennie and George Griffiths. Bill was a hard-working logger and had been a resident of Sprucedale his entire life. Bill is survived by his devoted wife Karen Griffiths. They celebrated over 47 years of marriage. There is no greater testament to Bill than the love of his family. Proud father to Lee-Ann Hack (George), Will Griffiths (Lori), Janice Griffiths (Steve), and Dale Griffiths (Joanne). Loving grandfather to Matt Lamb (Robin), Brad Morris (Devan), Brittany Morris (Matt), Taylor Eade, Mark Griffiths (Morgan), Haley Griffiths (Danny), James Eade, Lawson Griffiths, Kayla Griffiths. Beloved great-grandfather Sophia and Jaxon Lamb and Rylen Morris. He leaves behind siblings Gwen Brown, Carl Raymond Griffiths (Shelia), Vince Griffiths and Jennifer Cushman (Jim). Bill is welcomed to Heaven by his parents as well as siblings George Griffiths (the Late Shelia), Dorothy Mclean (the Late Ray), Ted Griffiths (Bonnie) and Jack Griffiths (Lillian). Friends and relatives are invited for the Celebration of Life at THE SPRUCEDALE FAITH CHAPEL, 63 HENRY STREET , SPRUCEDALE on Saturday April 1, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. A light luncheon will occur thereafter at the Sprucedale Community Centre. Memorial donations may be made to Karen Griffiths for the assistance of the cost of the funeral as expressions of sympathy.
