Alan Saunders, 88, after a brief illness, passed peacefully in his sleep with his family at his side. Al lived all of his life in Oshawa, Ontario. He worked for almost 40 years at General Motors in the pattern shop. Al was an active man who was an avid cyclist. He is predeceased by his wife Edna (Tasa) and his parents James and Mabel. Loving father to Mark, (wife Jen, grandchildren Mabel, Chloe and Ted) Kevin, (grandchildren Zach and Tyler) and Carol (husband Gill, grandchildren James, Katie, Alexandria and Adam.) Funeral services to be held at Armstong Funeral Home in Oshawa. Visitation Thursday Sept 22 from 6-9, service Sept 23 at noon. Private burial at Thornton Cemetary to follow.
