BORG, Fred Passed away suddenly, surrounded by his family and friends at home on Friday January 3, 2014, in his 74th year. Beloved husband for 50 years to Josephine. Devoted father of Lucienne Champagne (Gregory), Geraldine Borg (Jeff Champagne), Mark Borg (Shannon Burwash), and Justin Borg. Nannu of Melissa, Emily, Aaron, Julia, Joseph, Marin, Reid, and Dylan. Brother of Anthony, Charlie, Esther, Josephine, and Evelyn. Fred was born in Malta, but became a proud Canadian who served in the R.A.F. and became a 20 year veteran of General Motors Oshawa, as well as a Knight of Columbus. Fred will be dearly missed by his family and his many friends. Resting at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME 124 King Street East Oshawa, for visitation on Monday January 6th from 2PM – 4PM & 7PM – 9PM, with prayers at 2PM. Funeral mass will be held at St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church on Tuesday January 7th at 10am. Interment at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery Whitby.
