REDKNAP, Alfred George "Alf" At the age of 93, Alf passed away at Lakeridge Health Oshawa, on June 11 2017, surrounded by his family. He was predeceased by his loving wife of 66 years Deane. A long time employee of General Motors, he spent many years as a member of the GM Choir, entertaining employees at several plants, in both Ontario and Quebec. Loving father to son Doug and his wife Yvonne. Beloved grandfather to Neil. Special thanks to the staff and volunteers in 4F Palliative Care. Visitation will be held at Armstrong Funeral Home (124 King St. E, Oshawa) on June 16, 2017, 7:00-9:00 pm. A private graveside service will take place in Newtonville on Saturday. Donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated in lieu of flowers.
