Allan John Bollenbach April 2, 1936 – January 15, 2017 Passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville at the age of 80 with his loving family by his side. Beloved husband of the late Rita Marie Bollenbach, loving father to Brenda Blum of Newmarket and Cindy Bollenbach (Paul) of Oshawa, and caring grandfather to Meghan, Sarah, and Nicholas. Big Al will be remembered for his community volunteer work through the Kenora Lion’s Club, his luck when playing cards, and his love for fishing on the Lake of the Woods. Cremation has occurred and a private family gathering will take place at a later date. Donations may be made to the Lake of the Woods District Hospital.
