Allene Crosbie Oshawa, Ontario Obituary

Allene Crosbie

CROSBIE, Allene Margaret (nee Henson) - It is with deep sorrow to let you know that my beautiful wife, Allene Margaret Crosbie, (age 66, born September 12, 1946) passed away peacefully on Saturday September 29, 2012 from complications of ALS (known as Lou Gehrig's disease). She was an amazing wife, mother (Cathy, Rob & Kim) and grandmother (Kayden, Griffin & Sage), sister (Robert Henson) devoted to us all and whom we all loved dearly. She will be deeply missed by me, Cathy, Rob, Kim, Kayden, Griffin, Sage and all our relatives, many friends and her former teaching colleagues. We so looked forward to doing so many things in our retirement, but it was not meant to be. We would like to express our deep appreciation to all our relatives, friends, the ALS Society, Lakeridge Health doctors & nurses, and home care workers and nurses for their wonderful support during these difficult times. Allene, I love you so much. Heaven now has another angel. John xoxo According to her wishes, there will not be a service, but a celebration of life (TBA) later. If you wish, in lieu of flowers, a donation to the ALS Society at www.alsont.ca in her memory would be gratefully appreciated to help combat this terrible disease which has no cure. Arrangements entrusted to the Armstrong Funeral Home, 124 King Street East, Oshawa.
