Anna (Hogenboom) Wiggers November 8, 1941 – October 21, 2009 It is with great sadness our family announces the passing of Anna Wiggers. Anna passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness on Wednesday, October 21, 2009 in her 68th year. She was predeceased by her parents, John and Anna; an infant son; a brother Alfonso and sister-in-law Mia. A devoted mother to her children, Ingrid (David), Ramona (David) and Joe (Krista); and cherished Oma to Heather, Melissa, Hunter and Hope. She also leaves behind her siblings Truus, Mia, Joanne, John, Henny, Henry, Bernie, Bill, and Andy. She will be dearly missed by family and friends; eternal gratitude to her devoted friend and confidant Harold “Farmer” Edwards – your enduring patience and constant help to Anna will never be forgotten for you truly are an Angel! A sincere thank you to Dr. Whey and the wonderful, caring staff on 3F at Lakeridge Health in Oshawa for the compassion they gave Anna and her family; to careworkers (Carol and Julie) from Durham Access to Care for their kindness and devotion over the years. Anna rested at Armstrong Funeral Home, Oshawa, on Thursday October 22nd, followed by a mass at St. Gregory the Great Roman Catholic Church on Friday, October 23rd. Interment was held at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery in Whitby. In memory of Anna, memorial donations to the Canadian Liver Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
