Gorrie Beryl Elizabeth Parsons At Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Thursday June 19, 2008. Beryl in her 82nd year. Beloved wife of Donald Sinclair Gorrie. Loving mother of Thomas Gorrie, and Kristine Nash (Neshevich) & her husband Chris Neshevich. Dear grandmother of Nicole, and Maddison. Dear daughter of the late William & Elizabeth Parsons (nee Stewart). Sister of Clive (Sam) Parsons & his wife Simone. Predeceased by her siblings Harold Parsons & his wife Jean, Joan Barker & her husband Bud, and Derek Parsons. Survived by her sister in law Marion. Sister in law of Alan Gorrie & his wife Carol, Ross Gorrie, Beryl Gorrie, and Jean Moore. Lovingly remembered by her many nieces & nephews, great nieces & nephews, family & friends. Wonderful friend of Isabelle King and Ruby Peeling. Many thanks to the Doctors and Nurses for their wonderful care and kindness during this difficult time. Resting at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King Street East, Oshawa with a Memorial Service at Thornton Cemetery Chapel on Saturday June 28, 2008 at 1 p.m. with visitation one hour prior to service time. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the “Beryl Smiles” Foundation at Lakeridge Health Oshawa, or Simcoe Hall Settlement House would be appreciated.
