VEDOURAS, Charles Karolos Passed away on Friday October 4, 2013 at home surrounded by his loving family, at the age of 87 years. Born to the late Spyridon and Agapi Vedouras in Nimfes, Corfu, Greece on March 5 1926. Retired from Consumers Gas after 32 years of service. Before immigrating to Canada he was with the Royal Mounted Police in Greece for 10 years. Beloved husband of the late Athina (nee: Verveniotis). Loving father of Spyro (Gertie Rose), Bill (Effie), and Agapi (Victor). Proud Papou of Carlos Jonathan, Zoey Angelica, Athina Nikoletta, Athina Carolina, Carlos Spyridon, Joseph Jeremy, and John-Michael. Cherished brother of Stavros (Lina), Roza (Evan), Koula (George), Theofanis (Niki), and Irini (Menelaos). Karolos will be sadly missed by his many sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Resting at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME 124 King Street East, Oshawa, 905 433-4711 for Visitation on Sunday October 6th from 2pm – 4pm & 7pm – 9pm, prayers at 7pm.
