STANDINGREADY, Cliff - “Tatanka agé akichita oquepa” (Standing Buffalo Warrior) - Peacefully on Thursday October 8, 2020 at Peterborough Regional Health Centre at the age of 73. Cliff, beloved husband for 50 years of Frances (nee Murphy). Much loved father of John and his wife Michelle, Clifford Lee and his wife Kim, and Pauline Lavoie and her husband Marc. Proud grandfather of Christopher, Sierra, Amanda (Patrice), Brandon, Austin, Joshua, Julie and Chantelle. Missed by brothers Barry and Bruce and predeceased by his parents and other siblings. Cliff was an Elder and mentor to many and will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him. Friends may RSVP or call 905-433-4711 to register for the visitation on Tuesday October 13th from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at the Armstrong Funeral Home, 124 King Street East, Oshawa as well as for the funeral in the chapel of the funeral home on Wednesday October 14th at 1pm. Interment to follow at Thornton Cemetery, Oshawa. Masks are mandatory at all times. Memorial donations to Legacy of Hope Foundation would be greatly appreciated by Cliff's family.
