van de Valk, Corrie (nee Heurkens) – Peacefully in her sleep on Monday December 20, 2010 at her home in Oshawa at the age of 84. Corrie, beloved wife of the late Andy van de Valk. Loved mother of Mary and her husband Lyle Masters, Ron van de Valk and his wife Cheryl of Burlington, Rob van de Valk and his wife Tarja of Whitby and Lynn and her husband Reg Gardner. Proud Grandma of Andrea (Derek), Jeffery (Jodie), Kristin (Kevin), Matthew (Laura), Vanessa, Melissa (Delon), Andrew, Megan, and Laura and great grandma of Haleigh, Kaelyn and Keenan. Dear sister of Bert (Brenda), Betty (Ben), the late Ray (Hazel), the late Christine, the late Sjaak, the late Kor, and the late Frank. Dearly missed by best friends Evelyn Thomson, Les, Fanny Esterbrook, Mientje Klumper and all her friends at 130 Centre Street South. Corrie will be fondly remembered by all her loving family in Canada and in Holland. Special Thanks to the Kidney Clinic staff at Lakeridge Health Oshawa for the wonderful care Corrie received.
