KUPNICKA,Czeslawa “Jessie”-Passed away peacefully at Hillsdale Estates on Sunday January 8th,2017 at age 92. Born in Boryslaw, Poland and emigrated to Canada in 1959. Beloved wife of the late Peter. Dear mother of Christine and her husband Roman Rosiek and daughter in law Helen Kupnicki. Predeceased by her son George and daughter Irene Adamcewicz. Babcia will be truly missed by Andy, Ted (Arlene), Mark, Barb (Richard), Margaret (Brett), Dorothy (Chris), Diane, Paul (Amanda), Jolanta (Gary) and her great grandchildren. Czeslawa was a faithful and long-time member of St Hedwig’s Roman Catholic Church where she was a lector and a member of the St Hedwig’s Rosary Society. She was a teacher and director at the Polish Heritage School for 25 years as well she was very active in the Polish community and scouting chapter in Oshawa having been a girl scout herself. Special thanks to Hillsdale Estates staff that showed great care and friendship. Resting at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King Street East, Oshawa. Mass of Christian burial will take place at St Hedwig’s Roman Catholic Church on Friday January 13th, 2017 at 11 a.m. Visitation will take place at the funeral home on Thursday from 6-9 p.m. Prayers will be held at 8 p.m. Burial will take place at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery.
