Bobyk, Darryl Michael – It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Darryl on Thursday September 7th, 2017. Darryl leaves behind his loving wife Patty, his children Ashley Woodward (Tim), Geoff Bobyk (Melissa) and Josh Bobyk. He is the adored Papa to Logan and Bretlyn. Dear brother of Karen Paats (Hans), he will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Darryl will be sadly missed by all of the Sankey family. Predeceased by his parents Peter & Josephine Bobyk. Darryl retired from GM after 32 years of service. He was a life long fan of the Montreal Canadiens, enjoyed all sports, the outdoors and being behind the camera. He was also known as “DJ Darryl” and had a playlist for any and every occasion. Darryl was perhaps best known for his incredible sense of humour. Please join with the family to share memories at the Visitation held on Tuesday September 12th from 2pm to 4pm & 6pm to 9pm at Armstrong Funeral Home. A funeral service celebrating Darryl’s life will be held in the Armstrong Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday at 11am. Private family interment will take place at Bond Head Cemetery.
