73 of Bowmanville, peacefully passed on November 7, 2015 in Bowmanville, Ontario.
Visitation will be held at ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME 124 King St E, Oshawa on Wednesday November 11th, 2015 from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm & November 12th from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm.
Funeral service will be held at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME on Thursday November 12, 2015 at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery at 760 King St W, Oshawa, joining her parents and brother.
What a beautiful fall! Everything shimmering and golden, orange and red, and all that incredible soft light on a cloudy, rainy day. As Diane passed away with her family by her side, a ray of sunlight filled the room and all of them; with love, peace and tranquility knowing that Diane’s battle with the personality robbing dementia was finally over. She is now at peace. Her love for life, room filling joy, and infectious laugh will be missed all who were lucky to have known her.
She enjoyed Pinot Grigio, laughing, reading, and spending time with her family and friends.
Diane was born in Oshawa to Myrle and Madeline Reeson on December 24, 1941. She is preceded in death by her parents, Myrle and Madeline and her brother Earl. Diane will forever be loved by; her two daughters Sandra and her husband Evert, and Heather and her husband Phil, her devoted husband of 54 years Sonny, her ever-caring brother Roger and his wife Janie Reeson, Diane’s three nephews, four grandchildren and great grandchild Sierra.
