TROTTA, Diego – Passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Wednesday June 12, 2013 at the age of 73. Devoted and loving husband of Teresa for 47 years. His memory will be cherished by his son Emilio (Kim) and daughter Anna (Frank). Nonno will be missed by his grandchildren Carley, Giovanni, Diego, Francesco and by Michelle (Pat) and Brianne (Calvin), and great grandchildren Callum and Brady. Predeceased by his sister Licia. Survived by his brother in law Dante. Dear brother of Tony (Rina) and Frank (the late Linda). Remembered by his nieces and nephews. A man who never gave up on life and lived for his family. The family would like to thank all of the nurses and doctors in the Dialysis Unit for their kind care, and also the nurses and doctors in the Oncology Department for their compassion and care during Diego’s last few days. Resting at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King Street East, Oshawa on Sunday June 16 from 2 – 4 & 6 – 9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Mary of the People Church on Monday June 17, 2013 at 11 a.m. Entombment Resurrection Mausoleum, Whitby.
