Dmytro Hlynka

Hlynka, Dmytro – passed away after a lengthy illness at Lakeridge Health Oshawa, on Sunday July 28, 2013 at the age of 84. Dmytro is survived by his loving wife Rose, sons Peter Abramczuk (Heather), Jerry Abramczuk, and Steve Abramczuk (Carol Hobbs). Beloved Gido to several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Brother of Tatiana Kadykalo and predeceased by his parents and two sisters, the late Barbara Pic and the late Ewdokia Paziu,. Dmytro will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Dmytro immigrated from Germany to Saskatchewan and came to Oshawa in 1953. He was a long time employee of Foley Plumbing. Visitation Wednesday July 31st at Armstrong Funeral Home, 124 King Street East, Oshawa from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 pm. Panachyda will be held on Wednesday at 7:30 pm. Divine Liturgy of Christian Burial at St. George the Great Martyr Ukrainian Catholic Church on Thursday August 1, 2013 at 10 am. Interment at St. Wolodymyr & St. Olha Cemetery.
