Mitchell, Donald Joseph (General Motors employee for 33 years) Passed away peacefully on Wednesday June 4, 2014 at Glenhill-Strathaven Life Care in his 85th year. Beloved husband of the late Mildred Mitchell to whom he was married for 62 years. Much loved father of Brenda and her husband Rae Graham, Richard Mitchell and his wife Sherry, Gail and her husband Dave Price, Barbara Bonetta, Darlene Mitchell and the late Kevin Mitchell. Proud grandfather of Ricky, Angela, Andrea, Chris, Jeff, Amy, Brad, Pam, Lisa, Michelle, Brittney and Matt and great grandfather of Avery, Rhiannon, Cole, Alexa, Evan, Emily, Bree, Allie, Colby, Cayden and Ryan. Dear brother of Eric and Ron Mitchell. Will be sadly missed by extended family and friends. The family would like to thank the staff at Strathaven for all their care and support. Friends may call at the Armstrong Funeral Home, 124 King Street East, Oshawa on Monday June 9th from 7-9 pm and Tuesday June 10th from 11am – 1 pm. Funeral Service will follow in the chapel at 1 pm.
