Whitbread, Doris Armina (nee Fisher) – Passed away Tuesday October 25, 2016 in her 102nd year. Daughter of the late Lavina & Herbert Fisher. Predeceased by her siblings Verna, Cora, Lorne, Mabel and John. Survived by her children Judy (the late Frank 2015), and Ron (Bev), by her grandchildren Stephen (Sarah), Michelle (Ken), Carrie (Jeremy) and the late Darren (2011) and by her great grandchildren John, Lily, Kate and Julia. Doris was raised by her maternal Aunt Hannah and Uncle Dan Jack. She grew up on the farm which is now Camp Samac. Resting at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King Street East, Oshawa. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home Chapel on Monday October 31, 2016 at 1 pm. Visitation will be take place one hour prior to service. Burial at Thornton Cemetery.
