CATHERWOOD Alice Dorothy (nee Medd) passed away peacefully January 19, 2011 at The Wynfield in her 98th year. Beloved wife of the late Delbert Catherwood for 70 years. Loving Mother of Ken (Beth), Neil ( Betty), grandchildren Brian, Melinda, Barry (Tara), predeceased by Nicole and great granddaughter Brooke-Lyn. Sadly missed by six great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sister Ola Lane and brother Ray Medd. Friends and family may call at The Armstrong Funeral Home 124 King St. E. Oshawa on Friday January 28th at 12 pm, until time of service 1pm. Reception to be held at St. Marks United Church 201 Center St. S. Whitby following service. Interment Uxbridge Cemetery the following day. Memorial donations to Hearth Place or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
