WHITEHEAD, Elizabeth Marie (Betty) November 5th 1940-May 23rd 2013- Born in Grand Falls Newfoundland, Betty was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Betty is predeceased by her loving husband Richard; parents Joseph Power and Elizabeth (LeFresne) Power, and her brother Glen Power. She is now reunited with them in heaven. Betty is survived by her loving daughters Renee (Derek) Carey and Rebecca Whitehead; granddaughter Elizabeth and grandson Avery. Betty was one of ten children and stood third in the family. She will be so missed by her brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews and all her friends that had the pleasure of knowing and to love her. A memorial service will be held at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME 124 King St E, Oshawa at Tuesday May 28th 2pm with visiting 1 hour prior. In lieu of flowers memorial donations would be appreciated to the Grandview Children’s Centre or the Canadian Cancer Society.
