NORTHEY, Elmira “Mira” (nee: Chatterton) Passed away on Saturday November 1, 2014 with her family by her side, at Lakeridge Health Oshawa, in her 89th year. Beloved wife of the late Raymond Northey. Dearly missed and loved by her partner Gord Johnson. Loving mother of Raymond (Vivian Guy), and Dale “Beaver” (Christy Cline). Cherished grandmother of Lisa Greer (Lenny), Lynn Coons (Jamie), Trisha Todd (Mike), Ashley, Crystal Yaki (Mike) as well as great grandmother of Madelyn, Mitchell, Meadow, Hunter, Travis, and Caleb. Thank you to her loving siblings; George Chatterton (Kaye), Lorraine Vaillancourt, and Gail Vaillancourt and their extended families for all their support. The family would also like to thank Dr. Leo Quinn, Debbie Shroder, and the OC6 nursing staff at Lakeridge Health Oshawa for their kindness and care. Resting at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME 124 King Street East Oshawa (905) 433-4711, for a Funeral Service on Tuesday November 4th at 1:30pm.
