Predeceased by his loving wife, Patricia. Cherished father of Anita Newman(Kelvin) and Paul Phillips(Carol). Devoted grandfather to Eryn(Todd), Sara(Ken) and Tamara(Sean). Great grandfather to Amber, Logan and “Baby Bear.” Eric’s family would like to extend their warm thanks to all of the staff at Sunnycrest Nursing Home, and the supportive staff of the 4F unit at Lakeridge Health Oshawa for all of their care and compassion. In keeping with Eric’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and no formal funeral service will be held. If desired, memorial donations to the charity of your choice are greatly appreciated.
