Kurylo, Ewhenia (Genia) (nee Bilous) Born April 7, 1924 in Ihrowica, Ukraine. Passed away surrounded by her loving daughters, at the Wynfield Long Term Care, on Tuesday April 18, 2017, at the age of 93. Beloved wife of the late Petro Kurylo (2015). Cherished Mama of Irene Hill (Gavin), Mary Halcomb (Don) and Doreen Hrdlicka (Jan). Loving Baba of Ian (Melissa), Jeremy (Jackie), Derek (Sarah), Amanda (Chris), Kristen (Scott) and Jeffery (Holly). Loving Baba to great grandchildren Maxwell, Madeleine, Cooper, Avery, Molly, Kinley, Sophie, Anna and Alice. Predeceased by her brother Stah and sister Roma Tymochko in Ukraine. Survived by half sisters Rose, Mary and Sylvia. Will be missed by extended family in Ukraine and Montreal. Genia was very crafty and would spend hours crocheting, knitting and sewing. She and her husband loved gardening and were both active members of the Ukrainian community. She loved baking, helping at Dnipro Hall during fiesta week, but above all, she loved her family. Visitation will be held at Armstrong Funeral Home, 124 King Street East, Oshawa on Sunday April 23rd from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Panachyda will be at 7:30 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. George the Great Martyr Ukrainian Catholic Church on Monday April 24th at 11 am. Interment St. Wolodymyr and St. Olha Ukrainian Cemetery.
