OLAND, Francisca Josephine (nee Stokman) 1925 – 2012 Frankie, as she was best known to family and friends, passed away at the Wynfield nursing home in Oshawa early Friday morning, October 26, 2012 after a long battle with Parkinson’s Disease. In her early years, her favourite activities included oil painting, gardening, and get-togethers with family and friends at the cottage. Frankie was predeceased by her sister Johanna and her husband Laird. She is survived by her son Frank and her daughter Margueret, and grandchildren Chris and Melissa. Funeral services will be held on Friday November 2nd at the Armstrong Funeral Home, 124 King Street East, Oshawa with visitation at 10am and funeral service at 11am. A gathering of family and friends will take place after the service. Memorial donations to the Salvation Army in lieu of flowers would be greatly appreciated.
