Stasinski, George It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of George Stasinski in his 89th year, on Wednesday September 15, 2010. Predeceased by his wife Anne (1997) of 52 years. He will be sadly missed by his children Jorjan and her husband Philip Mead, Michael and his late wife Judy and Philip and his wife Cynthia. Dear brother to Mary and her husband Bill Peters. He was a loving grandfather to Sidonie, Jamie and Katie. George was a longtime employee of General Motors, a wonderful story teller and an avid poker player. He will be missed by all who knew him. Memorial visitation will be held at the Armstrong Funeral Home, 124 King Street East, Oshawa (905) 433-4711 on Tuesday September 21st from 10 am. – 12 pm. A private family service will be held at a later date. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
