HILL, Gerald Marley (Jerry) Passed away very suddenly Saturday December 22, 2012 with his loving family at his side at Lakeridge Health Oshawa in his 81st year. Retired from General Motors 42.5 Years- service. Loving husband of Shirley (Ellis)for 59 years. Loving father of Sandra Pitre (Roger), Larry Hill (Anne) and Shelley Hill (Kevin Stone). Loving grandfather of Alana Robson (Mike), Jeremy Pitre (Laura), Craig Hill (Heather), Kristin de Montbrun (Chris) Roger Pitre (Bobbi-Jo). Great Grandfather of Austin and Kylie( Robson), Benjamin and Kendal (Pitre), Alyssa, Tiffany, Tianna (Pitre). Son of the late Blanche and Marvin Hill of Little Britain. Predeceased by brother Donnie, sister Doreen and Marie Cookman (Ross). Brother-in-law of Barbara Chapman (Douglas), Harold Ellis (late June), Margaret Henderson (Gary), Robert Ellis (Dianne). Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews and cousins. Jerry was very active in his community – founder of Glen Stewart Park, Associate and still very active member of OCCNA, mall walkers in Oshawa Centre. Bowled five pin Monday and Thursday, very supportive of all Glen Stewart sports teams. Active member of Centennial Albert United Church. Donations to Centennial Albert United Church Memorial Fund or charity of choice. Friends may call at the Armstrong Funeral Home, 124 King Street East, Oshawa on Wednesday December 26th from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral service in the chapel of the funeral home on Thursday December 27th at 11am. Interment Mount Lawn Memorial Gardens, Whitby.
