The Family of Gerda Jung is saddened by her passing on May 28th, 2009 at her home in Oshawa. Gerda was the loving and faithful wife of George Jung for 56 years.Gerda was not only a loving, caring wife but the best mother anyone could possibly have. She was a best friend, mentor and listener to her entire family who meant more than the world to her. She leaves behind her husband George,her daughters Shirley Newman and Terry Chapman,son Brian Jung,son in laws Paul Newman and Mark Chapman, daughter in law Susan Kime and her eight grandchildren Kurt,Natasha,Brittany,Matthew, Natalie, Devon, Julia and Curtis. Gerda passed away suddenly after a brief struggle with cancer. There will not be a funeral or visitation as per Gerda’s request. We will be having private visitation with immediate family only.
