Gottschalk, Gerhard (Jerry) Karl Peacefully with family at his side, on November 22, 2013 in his 87th year. Survived by his loving wife Ingeborg, sons Robert (Pearl Dunn) and Fred (Jan Thornhill), brother Walter (Katie) and nephews and grand nieces. Born in Breslau, Germany in 1926 and immigrated to Canada in 1951. He was the co-owner of Bowman Construction until 1990. The family will receive friends at the Armstrong Funeral Home, 124 King Street East, Oshawa on Thursday November 28th from 12 pm until the time of the Funeral Service in the chapel at 1 pm. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
