Bourdages, Germain Robert (Retired General Motors of Canada employee with 30 years of service and volunteerism for the United Way) Passed peacefully in his sleep in the comfort of his own home in Bowmanville, on the morning of Friday September 18, 2015 in his 59th year. Germain Robert Bourdages now rests in the wings of his beloved Saviour Jesus Christ, after a strong and courageous battle with cancer. Forever beloved husband and soulmate of Beverley L. Bourdages. Proud and loving father of David (Barb), Chantelle (Shawn), Christopher, and Michael. Cherished and proud Grampa of Aidan and Kara. Son of Marie and the late Gilles Bourdages. Predeceased by his brother George. Brother of Gerald (Lori), Gregoire, and Giselle (Cornell). His spirit will forever live in the memories of family, friends and all those that he has touched with his beautiful heart. Visitation will be held at ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King Street East, Oshawa on Monday September 21st , from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday September 22nd, at 10 am at L’Assomption de Notre Dame Church, 385 Hillside Avenue, Oshawa. Interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
