Went to be with her Lord and Saviour, surrounded by her family and loved ones on Friday December 1, 2017 at Fairview Lodge in her 85th year. Dear friend and spouse of the late Bert Van Noord and Allan Cameron. Loving mother of Brian (Sorina) Van Noord, Brenda (Bill) Heard and Bernice (Cris) Westerink. Proud grandmother of Taunia (Ken), Nathan (Marcee), Matthew (Amanda), Brent, Melanie (Robbie), Rebecca, Joshua (Marie) and Justin (Krystal), as well as great-grandmother of Autumn, Baihlee, Angel, Isla, Griffin, Maggie, Brooklyn, Bennett, Emma, John, Carter and the late Tanner. A special “thank you” to all the residents and staff at Marion Place and Fairview Lodge. Germaine will also be dearly missed by her many friends. Friends may call at ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King Street East, in Oshawa for a Memorial Service on Thursday December 7th at 11am, visitation will be held one hour prior to service time starting at 10am. Memorial donations to World Vision Canada would be greatly appreciated by the family.
