PENNINGS, Gerrit – Passed away peacefully on Friday May 2, 2014 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa in his 93rd year. Beloved husband of Maria for 66 years. Dear father of Rikie Pennings. Lovingly remembered by his grandson Geoffrey Scarfo. He will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Gerrit was predeceased by two sisters and one brother. Rested at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King Street East, Oshawa. A funeral service was held in the Chapel on Wednesday May 7, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. Interment was held at Resurrection Cemetery.
