Scholtes, Hendricus 'Hank' August 27, 1931 – January 8, 2021 Peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on January 8, 2021, at the age of 89. Loving husband of 65 years to Ann and father to Ted, Bert and Mackie (Bill). Beloved Opa to Mackenna, Jesse (Stephanie), Evan, Casey and Mackie (Patrick) and great-grandfather to Karson, Linken, Gavin and Brooks. Remembered by his brothers and sisters: Ann, Corry, Emmy (Wayne), Mary (Murray), Peter, Ted and Ben (Beth). Sadly predeceased by his parents, Ted and Nell, his sister Nell Stiles (Stewart) and his daughter Lenny (Peter). Dearly missed by his many other extended family members and friends in both Canada and the Netherlands. Hank was an avid gardener and multiple year winner of the 'Communities in Bloom' Competition. He was a proud member of the Teamsters union (retired 1996). Due to COVID-19 a private service will be held by the family at Resurrection Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, a donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family. Online condolences may be left at www.armstrongfh.ca
