DUCASSE, Henriette – Peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday September 27, 2015 at Strathaven Nursing Home, Bowmanville at the age of 81. Henriette, beloved mother of Linda Laval (Jean), Maryse d’Albret (Gaetan), Jean-Marc Patten (Kamla), Errol Laval (Danielle). Much loved grandmother of Nicolas (Graziella), Joel (Sandy), Stephanie (Corby), Christel (Ron), Christophe (Denise), Priscilla (Ken), Dylan (Marie-Christine), and great grandmother of Alessandro, Maxime, Ellora, Tristan, Jordyn, Amelie, Ryan, Jayda, Dominick, Remy and Sahara. Dear sister of Danielle and Frankie, the late Manfred and the late Clency. Henriette will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by her family and friends in Canada and in Mauritius. A funeral Mass will be held at St. John the Evangelist Church, 903 Gifford St, Whitby on Thursday October 1st at 10 am. Cremation to follow. Memorial donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be greatly appreciated by the family.
