MAYNARD Herbert Alfred Naval Veteran WW II, Three time Past President Oshawa Naval Veteran’s Association, Past President R.C.N.V.A., Commanding Officer Sea Cadet Corp. R.C.S.C.C. Drake, Founder N.L.C.C. Hawkins. Passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Monday February 11th, 2008 at Community Nursing Home, Port Hope at the age of 86. Beloved husband of the late Lillian. Father of Herbert “Hank” (Nancy) and Ron (Kendra). Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Melanie, Geordie, Jason, Michael and Pamela and by his great grandchildren Graiden and Jacob. Special thanks to the staff at Community Nursing Home, Port Hope, for their care and love. Resting at The Armstrong Funeral Home 124 King Street East with Funeral Service in the Chapel on Thursday February 14th, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. Interment Mount Lawn Memorial Gardens.
