CAMPBELL, John Cameron “Jack”, Retired - 36 Year Decorated Metropolitan Toronto Police Officer – 36 years-service 42 Division. Peacefully, surrounded with family and friends on Thursday November 14, 2013 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa at the age of 78. Jack, beloved husband of the late Edith Campbell (nee Henry) (2001). Much loved father of Kathleen Campbell (Darryl Pollock), Heather Sigus (Ronnie), and Séan Campbell. Proud Grandpa of Ronnie, Jeffrey, Danny, Bryce, Heather, Mattis and Heli. Jack is predeceased by his dear mother Isabelle Campbell, and his beloved sister Nancy (Anne) Terry and her husband John. Jack’s family extend deep thanks to the staff on 6C and 9G at Lakeridge Heath Oshawa, the Toronto Police Association, LHO Dialysis Unit, and Jack’s AA Family for the wonderful care and support received. Friends may call at the Armstrong Funeral Home, 124 King Street East, Oshawa on Monday November 18th from 3-5pm and 7-9pm. Funeral services in the chapel of the funeral home on Tuesday November 19th at 11am. Interment Resurrection Catholic Cemetery, Whitby. Memorial donations to Lakeridge Health Oshawa – Dialysis Unit, The War Amps or the Hospital for Sick Children would be greatly appreciated by the family.
