ABRAMCZUK, Jerry March 13, 1948-January 17, 2014 Passed away unexpectedly after a brief illness at Lakeridge Health Oshawa. Son of Rose Hlynka and step son of the late Dmytro Hlynka. Father of Lee and Sarah, Brother of Peter (Heather) Abramczuk and Steve (Carol Hobbs) Abramczuk. An employee of Sklar Funiture, General Motors and Process Development Canada Corporation. Jerry enjoyed boating, fishing, Karate and was an award winning professional snowmobile racer. Resting at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King Street East, Oshawa. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Panachyda on Tuesday evening at 7:30 p.m. in the chapel. With Divine Liturgy of Christian Burial at St George the Great Martyr Ukrainian Catholic Church, 42 Lviv Blvd in Oshawa on Wednesday January 22, 2014 at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Wolodymyr and St. Olha Cemetery.
