SMITH, Joan Mary – June 8, 1926 – August 21,2016 at Taunton Mills, Whitby in her 91st year. Beloved wife of the late Robert Stanley Smith. Partner of Douglas Price. Dear mother of Mary Blight (Smith) and her husband James Blight of Port Perry, Ontario, Nancy Daignault (Smith) and her husband Brent of Calgary, Alberta, and Craig Smith and his wife Barb of Courtice, Ontario. Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Jonathon Blight and his wife Lisa of Kingsville, Ontario, Robert Blight and his partner Sarah Hobel of Rose Bud, Victoria, Australia, Christopher Daignault and his wife Kirsten of Calgary Alberta, Amanda Daignault of Edmonton Alberta, Kevin Smith, Mark Smith and Jeffery Smith, all of Courtice and by her great grandchildren Kristin, Blain, Austin, Benjamin, Noah, Sophia and Charlotte. Please join with the family for memorial visitation on Friday, August 26, from 6pm to 9pm at Armstrong Funeral Home, 124 King St. E. Oshawa. Memorial Celebration at St. Thomas Anglican Church, 101 Winchester Rd. E. Brooklin on Saturday August 27, 2016 at 10am followed by a reception at the Oshawa Golf Club, 160 Alexandra St, Oshawa, ON.
