Joan Truax

Truax, Joan Passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Monday June 16, 2014 in her 77th year. Beloved wife of the late Elmer Truax. Loving mother of Lloyd and his wife Brenda, Rick and his wife Wanda and Bev Newell and her partner Roy Tandy. Cherished grandma of Justin (Jamie), Michael, Jennifer (Tim) and great grandma to Travis and Kyle. Survived by her sister Louise Robinson and sister in law Ruth and predeceased by her brother Art Priestley. She will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Joan will be lovingly remembered by her special friends Norma, Henrietta, Margaret, Rosemary and many others. A special thank you to the Supportive Care Team at Lakeridge Health Oshawa. Resting at the Armstrong Funeral Home, 124 King Street East, Oshawa on Thursday June 19th from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will be held on Friday June 20th in the funeral home Chapel at 1 pm, with cremation to follow. Memorial donations to the R.S.
