Englert, Katalin (nee Weiss) Passed away at home on Tuesday November 1, 2011, in her 72nd year. Beloved wife of the late John Englert. Loving mother to Cynthia Englert. Younger sister of the late Maria Schneider (nee Weiss). Predeceased by her parents Terezia (nee Ullrich) and Martin Weiss. Born in Varoslod, Hungary, she was an avid gardener, a member of the Bowmanville Horticultural Society and a Founding Member of St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church. Memorial Visitation will be held at the Armstrong Funeral Home, 124 King Street East, Oshawa on Sunday November 6th from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. There will also be visitation on Monday November 7th from 9 am until the time of the service at 10 am. Interment to follow at Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Bowmanville Horticultural Society or St. Michael’s Roman Catholic Church in Varoslod, Hungary would be appreciated.
