ST. PIERRE, Marie-Claire Lise (Lisa) March 23, 1960 – May 31, 2015 Lisa, long-time resident of Whitby, in her 56th year, passed away peacefully in her sleep on May 31, 2015. She is survived by her siblings Marcella (Vic), Teddy (Francine), Louise (John), Paulette (Louis), Madeleine (Arlen), Michael, Carole (Paul), Suzanne (Mario) and numerous nieces and nephews, great and great-great. Lisa was born in Drummondville, Quebec to Marcel and Irene. As the youngest of 9 she was forever referred to as the baby of the family. Lisa was loved and respected by all who knew her. Lisa was a passionate equestrian who won many accolades for her riding skills. We know, with utmost certainty that, wherever she is, she is on horseback with the wind in her hair and a song on her lips. Visitation is on Saturday June 6, 2015 at the Armstrong Funeral Home in Oshawa at 2:30 pm with a service at 3:30 for friends and family. A private family reunion will follow. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Windreach Farm Therapeutic Riding Program would be most appreciated.
