Corson, Lloyd George – Founder Guide Realty, Peacefully on his 71st wedding anniversary on Wednesday November 14th, 2012. Lloyd Corson in his 96th year. Survived by his beloved wife Eileen May. Predeceased by his sister Violet Peel and brother Vernon Corson. Lovingly remembered by his nephew Don Peel and his family and by his niece Sharon Mitchell, her husband George and their family who gave endless love and care to Lloyd throughout the years. Sadly missed by his longtime friend Della Wilson. Much thanks to Dr. Frank Fung for all his special care. Lloyd was the founder of Guide Realty, Past President Durham Region Real Estate Board, and a member of the Oshawa Shrine Club, Oshawa Rotary Club, Royal Canadian Legion, and the Masonic Lodge. Lloyd was a strong community supporter through his associations and organizations. Lloyd had a busy and active life. He enjoyed golf, curling and cards to mention a few of his interests. Resting at Armstrong Funeral Home, 124 King Street East, Oshawa with Funeral Service in the Chapel on Saturday November 17th at 11am. Interment to follow at Oshawa Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Memorial donations to Lakeridge Health Bowmanville, would be appreciated. Visitation will be held on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9pm.
