NOONAN, Marjorie - Passed away peacefully at home with family holding her hands on Sunday October 3rd, in her 95th year. Much loved wife of the late Wilfred Noonan and mother of Michael, Gerry, Ilene (Stephen) and the late Paul Noonan. Treasured Grandma to Rosie (Jamie), Patrick, Moira and Paul Noonan and Kristen (Shaun), Greg and Allison Stones. Sister of Sister Aileen Donnelly and the late Frank Donnelly, Patrick Donnelly, Christine Hamilton, and Evelyn Finn. Marjorie was born in Fort MacLeod, Alberta, grew up in Leamington and Trenton and for the past 50 years, resided in Oshawa. She was nursing supervisor at the Oshawa General Hospital for many years until 1977. She grew old with dignity and independance and let go with grace. A fabulous wife, mother and grandmother. Many thanks to the team at St Elizabeth especially Crystal, Shirley, Cheryl and Julie and to the Palliative Care team at Lakeridge Health especially Dr. DeVost, Tina and all the nurses. Our gratitude to Dolly who faithfully helped with spiritual care. An extra special thanks to Carolina who looked after all of us and brought the sunshine to work with her. Resting at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King Street East, Oshawa. With Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary of the People Roman Catholic Church on Thursday October 7th, 2010 at 11 a.m. Visitation will be held on Wednesday October 6th from 7-9 p.m. Prayers in the chapel at 8 p.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
