Mary Dobko

Dobko, Mary, Passed away peacefully with her loving and devoted husband by her side on Friday February 1st, 2012, at Lakeridge Health Oshawa. Mary in her 87th year is the cherished wife of William Dobko. Mary and William were married on August 31st, 1946 and enjoyed 67 wonderful years together. Dear mother of Robert William Dobko & his wife Cheryl and Joan Ann Dickinson & her husband Gerry. Loving grandmother of Duane & his wife Sara, Adam & his wife Jodi, Andrea, Faye, Vanessa and Claire. Great grandmother of Cameron, Wil and Nathan. Mary enjoyed her career as a hair dresser for 56 years as well as oil painting, ceramics, beautiful gardens & flowers, the cottage and time spent with her family. Resting at Armstrong Funeral Home, 124 King Street East, Oshawa with Funeral Service at St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Orthodox Church on Thursday February 7th at 10am. Interment to follow at Oshawa Union Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday February 6th from 2pm-4pm & 7pm-9pm. Panachyda will be on Wednesday evening at 7:30pm.
