KAVANAGH, Michael Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family, after a courageous battle with COPD and heart disease. Predeceased by his loving wife of 54 years, Monica. He will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Loving father of Damien(DaleAnn), Trisha(Terry), Gerard(Helen) and Michael(Marci). Beloved papa, grandfather and great-grandfather to Shannon, Stephanie, Maureen, Taylor, Cheyenne, Ryan, Conor, Gavin, Monica, Quinn, Bonhom, Padraigh, and Siobhan. Friends may call for visitation on Sunday, February 23 from 5-9 pm at ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME (124 King St. E., Oshawa) with a funeral mass to be held on Monday, February 24 at 10 am at St. Gertrude’s Roman Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Lung Association or The Heart and Stroke Foundation.Obituary
