MEIKLE, Muriel Born in Wick, Scotland in 1921. Passed away peacefully after a long illness at Seven Oaks Nursing Home in Scarborough, Toronto on Friday January 18, 2013. Beloved wife of the late Jim. Loving mother of Dr. Grant Meikle and his wife Cheryl of Thunder Bay, Susan Burch and her husband Craig of Oshawa, and John Meikle and his wife Christina of Burlington. Loving grandmother of Andrew, Ben, Amy, Jesse, Kyle, Kevin, and Sean. Great grandmother of Zachary, Lauren, Tara, Allison, Cole, and Eric. Special thanks to her devoted caregiver Theresa Greenidge. Muriel was a teacher/librarian for many years at Saugeen District High School in Port Elgin before retiring to Oshawa. A private family service will be held.
