CHMELOWSKY – Nicholas “Nick” died peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Monday February 1st in his 92nd year. Beloved husband of Paraska Chmelowsky for 64 years. Loving father of Robert “Bogdan” Chmelowsky (Donna), Olga Myers (Doug) and Ihor “Ab” Chmelowsky. Dear grandfather of Jason, Aaron (Julie), Andrew (Mandi), Daniel (Melissa), Jeff (Ashlyn) and Jerrett. Great grandfather of Mackenzie, Meghan and Brooklyn. Nick will be sadly missed by his many family and friends. Mr. Chmelowsky is resting in the Armstrong Funeral Home (124 King Street East – 905 433 4711) on Wednesday February 3 from 7-9pm and Thursday February 4 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Panachyda at 7:30 pm. Divine Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held in St. George the Great Martyr Ukrainian Catholic Church ( 42 Lviv Blvd.) on Friday February 5 at 11:00 am. Interment in St. Wolodymyr St. Olha Cemetery.
