Obituary
Rachelle Blouin (nee Bergeron) - Peacefully passed away at Scarborough Centenary Hospital on Wednesday March 20, 2013 in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the late Bertrand Blouin. Dear mother of Roger (Barbara) of Whitby, Ginette Fullarton of Ottawa, and Raynold Blouin of Oshawa. Predeceased by her son Kenneth. As well, grandmother to Chantal and Daniel Durda, Vanessa and Natalie Blouin, Julie Fullarton and Chay Doucet. She is survived by three sisters Therese of Matane, Quebec, Normade of Montreal, and Regeanne of La Chute, Quebec; brothers Guy and Raymond, Quebec. Predeceased by her two brothers Arsène and Léo Paul Bergeron. Dear friend to Albert Mito and Heather Hendy. She came to Oshawa in 1948. She is a member of the association des femmes Canadienne Francaise, member of l’order d’Isabelle, member of Club Jeunesse D’Hier and very active in the Senior Citizen French Community. Rachelle and her late husband Bertrand were owners of Marion Auto in Oshawa for 30 years. She will be dearly missed and remembered by friends and her family. Friends may call at the Armstrong Funeral Home, 124 King Street East, Oshawa (905-433-4711) on Friday March 22nd from 7pm to 9pm. Funeral Mass at L’Assomption de Notre Dame, 384 Hillside Ave, Oshawa on Saturday March 23rd at 10am. Memorial Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
