BRUNO, Rosaria(nee Mancuso) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Rosaria Bruno in her 99th year, at Hillsdale Estates in Oshawa, on Tuesday June 9th 2015 with her family by her side. Loving wife of the late Giuseppe Bruno. Dearly loved mother of Maria(Luigi), Pasquale(Tina), Costantino(Elisea), Salvatore(Susan Kerr). Rosaria is predeceased by 5 sisters and 5 brothers, all of Italy. Rosaria was born September 11th , 1916 in Cicala, Provincia di Catanzaro, Italy. She immigrated to Canada in 1964 where she resided in Oshawa with her family. The family would like to extend their gratitude to the supportive nursing staff, and Dr. McIntosh at Hillsdale Estates(Maple Grove), and nursing staff along with Dr. Callow and Dr. Weir on floor 8G at Lakeridge Health. Family and friends will be received at ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME(124 King St. E., Oshawa) on Friday June 12th from 6-9pm. Funeral mass at Holy Cross Catholic Church(373 Simcoe St. S., Oshawa) on Saturday, June 13th at 10am. Entombment at Resurrection Cemetery in Whitby. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
