Roy Wotten

Wotten, Roy Irvin (retired GM Canada employee, WWII Veteran-Canadian Airborne Regiment) passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health Port Perry Hospital, on Wednesday, February 6, 2013 in his 89th year. Roy was born May 3, 1924. He was the Beloved Husband for 60 years of the late Elizabeth, Dear father of Robert and Jamie and Grandpa to Vanessa. Roy was the brother to Doreen Starr, brother in law to the late Allan Starr and uncle to Catherine Starr and Leanne Starr. A special thanks to Dr. Libby, Dr. Dayal, and the Staff at Community Nursing Port Perry & Lakeridge Health Port Perry Hospital, Catherine Starr, Doreen Starr and Valerie Luke for their efforts and kindness. Arrangements entrusted to the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King Street East,Oshawa. A memorial service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday February 13, 2013 at 11 a.m. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service time. Memorial donations in lieu of flowers to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.
