Rylie Peremesko

PEREMESKO, RYLIE DAWN November 21, 1997 – April 28, 2014. In the early morning hours of April 28, 2014, after a short illness, Rylie Peremesko passed from this life. She was surrounded by loving family. Her mother, Tina Durfey the light of her last days, was her constant companion and confidant and made sure that she never wanted for anything or felt alone. Her brother, Brayden Durfey, grandmother, Carol Durfey, and uncle and aunt Troy and Cheryl Durfey, were also able to be with her over these last few months, lending her strength and comfort. She will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by many family and friends. A testament to her loveliness was how many friends and family travelled from all over Canada to be with her in her final months. A special thanks to Make a Wish Foundation for making some of Rylie’s dreams come true. A trip with her family to Bahamas was a memorable get away where she was able to create new cherished memories with the ones she loved. We also extend our sincere thanks to the staff, and volunteers, at both Emily's House and Sick Kids for your caring hearts. While we are all diminished by our loss of this beautiful and strong soul we are also enriched for having known and loved her. A memorial visitation of Rylie’s life will be held at Armstrong Funeral Home, 124 King Street East, Oshawa Thursday May 1, 2014 from 2 – 4pm followed by a further celebration in Ignace, Ontario where she will join her great grandmother.
